Following on from this week’s lessons looking at note durations (values), this brief video gives an overview of note and rest (periods of silence) durations, how they appear in standard notation and how they relate to US terminology (used in Garageband), i.e. whole note, half note etc…
Please make sure you’ve had a careful look through before next week’s lesson (week beginning 24th Sep), we will then move on to looking at dotted and tied notes.
